In 2002 Crockets on the Quay was chosen from a field of over 600 pubs nationwide as the Black & White Pub of the year. This award was presented by a panel of judges and was awarded on the grounds of staff efficiency and friendliness, good atmosphere, welcoming exterior and interior, a range of well served drinks and on hygiene. The following year Crockets were again rewarded for their consistnecy by winning the Black & White Connaught Pub of the Year award 2003.
During the day, the pub is a great place to come and relax or take in the latest sports on our multiple plasma screens. This year we have just added a new beer garden facility which has two plasma screens and a pool table, ideal for watching matches or relaxing with friends over a drink during the day or evening and before or after your meal.
Top quality bar food is served all day from 12.30 to 9pm and our restaurant opens each evening from 6pm to 9.30. Reservations are advised and can be made by phoning + 353 96 75930.
Weekends at Crockets are vibrant and colorful as resident DJ's play the best of music on Saturday nights 'til 2am, and we can arrange the same for parties and special occasions with a private room available any other night. Likewise, if you prefer something a little more homely, Crockets traditional Irish music session in the front bar on Monday nights is always worth a visit and you can keep up to date with all of our current music and entertainment by clicking on our "Events & Entertainment" page.
From a quiet drink in one of our bars to partying the weekend away we think you'll agree with the Black & White judging panel - Crockets bars are hard to beat.
