Crocket’s On The Quay Under New Management

One of Ballina’s favourite pubs and restaurants, Crockets On The Quay was reopened under new management in May 2017.

The management team includes top local chefs and after a busy summer season, the team is busy cooking up exciting events and a great new autumn menu. Rubikon Hotel Management runs the popular guesthouse and gastropub and stakeholders are delighted with the response to their reopening.

With an impressive line-up of expertise in the hospitality sector, all of whom have worked in the top hotels in the country as well internationally, they are set to regain their position as one of Mayo’s prime destination gastro experiences.

Local, Seasonal and Delicious Food

The team at Crockets is committed to excellence and look forward to establishing the popular gastropub as one of the premier venues for great food, good customer service and great craic here in Ballina.

The menu offerings are all based on seasonal, local and great tasting products and the past summer season was a great success. Crockets welcomed back old customers and enjoyed meeting new ones.

The team is now working on an Autumn Menu which will be published as soon as it is ready, so watch this space.

As the venue boasts three screens, the Big Match specials have been and continue to be a great draw. There are always great match specials and combos. Feel free to check out our facebook page to avail of them. They start as low as €.9.99 for a Fosters Draft and chicken wings. As there are variations on the specials for each match, our social media platforms will keep you updated.

There are great specials available for a Dinner/Bed and Breakfast break and if the booking is made directly from this site the October rate stands at an incredible €115 per couple.

Autumn News

The summer season is over and  Autumn is well and truly here. The past season was a very busy one for us here in Ballina. We enjoyed greeting old customers and meeting new ones. Our new menu was very well received as our busy chefs included options that pleased everyone. Tasty New Dishes  Live Music  Saturday nights featured Gary Smyth amongst others and our guests greatly enjoyed his sound. Our trad Sunday’s are very popular and Ballina natives, Flatout, have featured regularly with their unique blend of Celtic trad and rock. The trad slot is from 5-7pm on a Sunday and the place is hopping! Big Match Specials  Over the last weeks, we have had a feast for sports fans and have catered with amazing big match specials in conjunction with Fosters Lager. We offer combos of our menu as well as pints of Fosters Draft beer starting from €9.90. If you are looking for a great spot to enjoy a match, revel in the atmosphere and have some great food, then Crockets is the place to be. Mayo Madness If you didn’t make it to Croke park Crocket’s was the best Ballina venue to watch the All Ireland men’s football final. The tension was rife as we watched our team come so close to bringing home the Sam McGuire. We still have the ladies final to make our Mayo mark and at time of publishing, we have great deals and much craic planned for our big day on Sunday 24 September. Check out our facebook page to see what we have planned for the day. https://www.facebook.com/crocketsonthequay PS: We update this news post to say that the ladies didn’t manage to triumph over Dublin and bring the cup home but nonetheless, we are proud of them. And it was indeed a great day here at Crockets. Win or lose...
